Dear Global Taekwondo Community,‍

As we welcome the beginning of a New Year, I am honored to share this message at a defining moment for our sport. 2025 marked the official launch of the Professional Taekwondo Federation, a federation founded to unite the global Taekwondo community while advancing both professional and amateur Taekwondo with integrity, respect, and cooperation.

‍

Though PTF is newly established, it is built on decades of experience and the shared vision of athletes, coaches, referees, officials, and leaders from around the world who believe that Taekwondo’s future is strongest when we move forward together.

‍

‍

As we enter 2026, PTF remains focused on clear and meaningful priorities:

‍

Strengthening education, licensing, and officiating standards.

Supporting athletes and professionals across all styles of Taekwondo.

Encouraging cooperation—not division—within the Taekwondo world.

Building strong National federations that serve the sport with integrity and respect.

‍

We also look ahead with great anticipation to important global gatherings, including the World Taekwondo Championships in Korea in July 2026 and the Pan American Open in Brazil in November 2026—key moments for unity, development, and global engagement in Taekwondo.

‍

PTF is just beginning its journey, but together we are laying the foundation for a federation that will serve the sport and its community for generations to come.
