KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – January 17, 2026 — Kombat Taekwondo (KT) Malaysia successfully conducted the 2026 Kombat Taekwondo Instructor & Assistant Training Program today, marking another important milestone in the structured development of Kombat Taekwondo nationwide.
This pioneering training program involved 50 Kombat Taekwondo instructors from across Malaysia, representing the first officially standardized cohort trained under KT Malaysia’s national framework. The program was designed to strengthen instructional quality, ensure athlete safety, and establish consistency in class management across all affiliated clubs.
Comprehensive Curriculum for Safe & Professional Instruction
Participants were briefed on the background and philosophy of Kombat Taekwondo, including its evolution, objectives, and role within the modern martial arts landscape. Emphasis was placed on safe sport principles, covering athlete welfare, injury prevention, ethical coaching conduct, and responsible class supervision for all age groups.
The event was graced by Bri. Gen. (R) Datuk Hj Mislan, President of Kombat Taekwondo Malaysia, and further honored by the presence of senior national leaders:
